Surratts-Clinton Public Library
Overview
As a branch of the Prince George's County Memorial Library System (PGCMLS), the Surratts-Clinton Public Library provides access to resources and services, such as books, periodicals, computers, printers, free WiFi, and study rooms, to the surrounding communities of Surratsville, MD and Clinton, MD. These resources and services are open to all people, including children and seniors, with a PGCMLS library card. The library also hosts various workshops, such as story time, crocheting lessons, and more, to bring the community together and educate them on various topics to increase human capital. The library is currently undergoing a renovating process that will change the environment "from a static, print based institution to an institution founded on the mission of connecting customers with information, services, equipment and other people" (PGCMLS, 2016).
