Food and Fitness After School Club
Overview
Food and Fitness Afterschool Clubs are school-based nutrition and physical activity programmes run by teachers, teaching assistants and community volunteers. Any student that attends the school is eligible to attend the club, along with their parents/carers and any siblings from 0-12 years. Each programme runs for 6 weeks and schools are aiming to run one programme per term. At the end of the programme children and parents are signposted to other suitable community initiatives and services. The following schools intend to run these afterschool clubs:
