Hanging Foot Bridge
Overview
This hanging bridge, located beneath the Robert E. Lee Bridge, provides access from the North bank of the James River to Belle Island. Once on the island there are myriad activities: fishing, walking and running, kayaking, rock climbing, biking and hiking. Belle Isle is also connected to many trails of the James River Park System. The bridge is open year round, and the park closes at sunset.
