BB&T has financial centers in 13 states and the District of Columbia with over $150 billion in assets. But to our customers, we’re their community bank. We’re committed to providing the perfect client experience with reliable, responsive, empathetic and competent support every step of the way. Whether you prefer banking with a handshake or banking on the go—we work hard to ensure that you have the best experience possible. BB&T's Mobile Banking services include Mobile Web, Mobile App, Mobile Check Deposit, Mobile Text, and iPad.

As a Green Business Partner, BB&T reduces paper consumption in numerous ways. Client documents are scanned instead of photocopied, emails aren't printed and new hire employee kits are distributed electronically. Green purchasing measures include purchasing recycled content products such as copy paper, toilet paper, and hand towels. Employees use reusable beverage containers and they don't use disposable wares in their staff kitchen. Conscious of our waterways, parking lot storm drains are marked with placards through the Storm Water Program.

The Venice Jacaranda Branch of BB&T became a Sarasota County Green Business Partner in 2013. The Green Business Partnership (GBP) encourages environmental stewardship in the commercial sector, and recognizes businesses that make an extra effort to operate in an environmentally responsible manner. This collaborative effort includes businesses, business organizations and local governments. The GBP was initiated through a grant awarded by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection to Sarasota County.
