Overview
Calloway specializes in the service and repair of high performance European vehicles like BMW, Mercedes Benz, Audi and Volkswagon. The company has a strong philosophy of minimizing its environmental impact. It switched to a detergent-based parts cleaning solution and aggressively recycles. The owner leads by example, biking to work most days and monitoring its business complex for street litter and storm drain contamination.
Calloway European Automotive became a Sarasota County Green Business Partner in 2008. The Green Business Partnership (GBP) encourages environmental stewardship in the commercial sector, and recognizes businesses that make an extra effort to operate in an environmentally responsible manner. This collaborative effort includes businesses, business organizations and local governments. The GBP was initiated through a grant awarded by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection to Sarasota County.
