Caspersen Beach is one of the most enjoyable sea shell beaches in the area and an excellent spot to find prehistoric sharks’ teeth! There are nature trails traveling through freshwater and saltwater marshes, mangrove areas, and tidal flats, and excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing.

Parking available from 6 a.m. to midnight.

The Venetian Waterway Park trail is 10 miles in length and follows along both sides of the Intracoastal Waterway. At the northern terminus, trail users can access historic downtown Venice, which features shopping, restaurants and cultural attractions, including the Venice Public Library, the Venice Museum and Archives, the Venice Art Center and the Venice Community Center.
