Overview

Cool Today serves Sarasota, Bradenton and Venice homeowners and businesses, and has been honored with local and national awards and recognitions. The company is so proud of its reputation that it invites visitors to its Web site to review company references and affiliations. Although not a measure included in the Green Business Partnership, Cool Today now requires its service staff and vendors dropping off supplies to shut off their vehicles during stops. This simple measure will save fuel, reduce pollution, and is a great example of how the Green Business Partnership helps businesses focus on their environmental impact.

Cool Today became a Sarasota County Green Business Partner in 2007. The Green Business Partnership (GBP) encourages environmental stewardship in the commercial sector, and recognizes businesses that make an extra effort to operate in an environmentally responsible manner. This collaborative effort includes businesses, business organizations and local governments. The GBP was initiated through a grant awarded by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection to Sarasota County.
