Venice Street Legal is an open air shuttle that’s eco-friendly on the island of Venice. Venice Street legal can show you the local attractions, historical land marks and the best views on the island. They handle the driving; you enjoy the peaceful ride in an open air electric vehicle. Their shuttle program is supported through local merchants advertising and offers free rides in the Venice central business district. If you need transportation to other locations on the island, Venice Street Legal offers a pay per ride service. Additional services include Venice island tours, island pub crawl transportation and island event shuttles.
Venice Street Legal became a Sarasota County Green Business Partner in 2013. The Green Business Partnership (GBP) encourages environmental stewardship in the commercial sector, and recognizes businesses that make an extra effort to operate in an environmentally responsible manner. This collaborative effort includes businesses, business organizations and local governments. The GBP was initiated through a grant awarded by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection to Sarasota County.
