Cath Cobb Woodlands are located in St Mellons, next to the district shopping centre. It is a very prominent wood in the local area with many people passing through the woods and enjoying its amenities. The woodland provides a reminder of the area before it was developed.

The Cath Cobb Community Woodland Group was established with the residents. The group involves local people in assisting the Council to manage and improve the woods.
