Creigiau Allotments Association

Overview

Dynevor Gardening Association currently has 56 members, but because of the demands of modern life , few people want to take on the commitment of a full size plot (90 x 30 ft) preferring either a half or quarter plot. Currently there are only 6 plots worked as full size.

In recent years the number of female gardeners has increased significantly which has resulted in more social activities – both on and off the plot – including participation in Creigiau Open Gardens and helping with the plant stall at Creigiau Carnival.

As in 1984, Pentyrch Community Council gives financial and other support – most recently with the renovation of our perimeter fence which is a work in progress. The Association has also been the recipient of generous grants from Creigiau 23, which have enabled us to buy equipment such as the Mantis Tiller and more recently the new Lawnmower.
