Port Eynon is a perfect family beach, with a wide expanse of golden sand and at lowtide, a large network of rockpools are exposed, showing a huge array of aquatic life - perfect for the inquisitve! It is also popular for sailing, surfing and its boat launching facilities.
Port Eynon holds a Blue Flag Award and is patrolled by lifeguards during the summer months.

There is easy access to car parking, toilets, village shops and Café and a bus service runs to the beach from the city centre. The nearby Salthouse is a nationally important historic site.

To attain a Blue Flag, a beach must reach the highest recommended European bathing water standards and the beach must be clean, well managed and promote sound environmental management.

The Blue Flag Campaign looks at resort beaches and marinas. The Campaign has been running since 1987 and is recognised in 22 countries.
