St Madoc Centre

Overview
St Madoc Centre is a charitably run residential centre founded in the 1940s, which is in partnership with A Rocha UK.
The aims of the project are to continue the management of the site for its original purposes: youth education and sanctuary, whilst managing the land for wildlife and continuing to add to our ever-lengthening species list.
The Centre has a growing area with raised beds and two polytunnels, where vegetables and fruit are grown to supply their kitchens and a poultry area with rescue chickens. Produce is also sometimes sold on a stall outside the centre. The growing area is maintained by staff and volunteers and primary schools use it as a learning resource. Volunteers and visitors are welcome by arrangement.
