Public Stairway
Overview
This public stairway provides access up to Eighth Avenue, and continues up to Prospect Avenue. There stairs were made of local peanut stone by Italian masons over a century ago. The terraced homes on Eighth Avenue and Prospect Avenue are laid out in tow concentric circles.
