Washington University- Brauer Hall

Visão geral
Construction on Brauer Hall at Washington University was completed in 2011. It houses the Department of Energy, Environmental and Chemical Engineering, and is meant to help conduct important research and promote sustainability. This building utilizes many green technologies that makes it very sustainable. A portion of the building's energy is provided by solar panels and a wind turbine on the roof. Native plants around the building are watered using rain water that is collected in an underground cistern. Low flow fixtures in the bathrooms help conserve water throughout the building. Those are just a few features of Brauer Hall that have made it a leader in modern architecture.
