South Riverside Development Centre

"South Riverside Community Development Centre is a community managed development centre and is a Company Limited by Guarantee and a registered charity. ;
Main services, Enterprises and Activities:
•Room hire, events and office facilities at the Brunel Street Centre, including a community garden, in which the Centre accommodates a wide range of autonomous groups;
•Young Children & Parents Project, including a staffed Parent & Toddler Group, children’s craft sessions and development of play and child care services in the area;
•Community Access to Lifelong Learning Project (basic computer and English (ESOL) classes, most with crèche facilities, Adult Learners events and associated community development;
•Riverside Luncheon Club and associated development work with older people, together with management of the Wyndham Street Centre;
•Riverside Warehouse Project, developing young people’s provision in association with Safer Cardiff Ltd.’s ReStart Project, planned to operate at the Riverside Warehouse from 2006.
