The Richmond Senior's Center serves as a central location for many services and opportunities for seniors in the area. Specifically, it provides nutritional support to local seniors as a meal partner with Area 9 Agency on Aging, houses the Widowed Person's Service as well as the local chapter of the Retired Senior Volunteer Program. In addition, they offer a variety of recreational wellness activities from dulcimer playing to line dancing to basketball to exercise classes.

Did you know that...Wayne County seniors donated over 56,000 volunteer hours last year through the Retired Service Volunteer Program. The Center itself conducted an energy audit recently (as encouraged by the mayor) and has cut back on electricity usage by only using half of their fluorescent lights and changing the lights they use in the gym?
