The Bruce County Public Library system is comprised of 18 branches and Headquarters.

The library offers its patrons and visitors more than just recreational reading or information. They own items in a variety of digital formats, lend out unusual types of items such as fishing tackle, geo-caching kits, or pedometers. They work with Bruce County municipalities (and the provincial government) in a variety of ways to help them deliver services to Bruce County residents.

The Bruce County Public Library offers electronic databases, e-books, books, periodicals DVDs, audio books of different kinds, music CD’s, public use computers, access to the internet, business information, in-depth reference and information retrieval. They also offer a variety of adult and children’s programmes.
