Rezumat
Ashjoi Soaps are fine crafted soaps made by Joy Loos and Ashley Baker. We are a mother and daughter team who enjoys making these authentic soaps with the highest quality ingredients. We have different types of soaps made with distinct ingredients to satisfy all skin types. On top of that, there is a plethora of wonderful and addictive scents that will surely enhance your bathing experience. What we love the most is coming to the farmers market to share our creation with our loyal customers and meeting new people who we get to know. We treat our customers as if they are our own family.
As a green business partner, Ashjoi Soaps are doing their part to make a positive impact. Ashjoi Soap’s products are designed to reduce impacts on the environment. They are packaged in wax paper and recycled bags printed with eco-friendly water based inks. The soaps are made using fair trade certified products that are purchased in bulk drums to reduce unnecessary and wasteful impacts. Unlike other soap companies, Ashjoi uses no palm oils, but chooses to use coconut, olive and even avocado oil alternatives. The soaps are made using reusable molds and containers.
A unique part of Ashjoi Soaps is that their products are sold by the pound, rather than premeasured bars. This allows customers to purchase to amount they need lessening excess waste. From an energy perspective, Ashjoi Soaps participates in FPL’s Business on Call program and are working on redesigning the lighting in their studio. Ashjoi looks to donate soap baskets to various community organizations when in need.
Ashjoi Soaps can be found every Saturday at the Sarasota Farmers Market.
Ashjoi Soaps became a Sarasota County Green Business Partner in 2015.
