Founded in 2009 by two Bay Area natives (brothers, Leo & Oliver Kremer), who moved to NYC and missed the taquerias they frequented at home. Modeled after the Kremer brothers favorite taqueria (Gordo’s) in Berkeley, CA. The brothers chose every detail, from the custom light fixtures, to the reclaimed wood for the countertops.
