忠義廟
Übersicht
清乾隆51年丙午年11月林爽文事變，埔心鄉民助清軍獲得勝利。乾隆皇帝御賜「褒忠」，加封殉難者為「忠義公」，並為了褒揚義行，乃頒旨：「凡經過忠義廟者，文官下轎、武官下馬，入廟祭拜」，以表揚忠義精神。直到前清武舉人黃耀南任埔心庄長期間，蓋廟以紀念先人義舉。
