Govans Presbyterian Church Garden

In 2009, the Govans Presbyterian Church created a community garden to supplement the food provided to GEDCO’s food pantry, CARES. Two 10’ by 15’ plots were created and fenced in. Supportive groups and church members donated plants, and the process began. During the first growing season the garden proudly produced tomatoes, peppers, herbs, eggplants, cucumbers and many flowers.
