The USF Sarasota-Manatee Campus building is a LEED certified green building. The building makes use of natural lighting with its large windows. There are solar charging stations for personal electronics such as cell-phones, laptops, etc that can be found in the courtyard. The landscape uses native eco-friendly plants that don’t require a lot of maintenance or mowing. The extended roof keeps the building cool by providing additional shading.
