McKenna's Inn Bed and Breakfast is one of the most environmentally responsible lodging choices in Ottawa County. A 10Kw wind turbine mounted at 120 feet provides the bulk of the electrical power for this 4000 sq. ft. residence. Intense recycling, composting, gray water re-use, and low energy usage programs have been in effect for a number of years. Plans are being made for a substantial organic gardening program.
