This independently owned coffee shop is located right off Westcott. They serve fresh, fair trade coffee roasted on-site and vegan/vegetarian coffee drinks and baked goods. Comfy couches and armchairs gives you that feeling like you're alone, working at your desk at home with only a golden light-exuding desk lamp to get you through the night. Recess often hosts literary events, like poetry readings by students, and movies shown from a projector. They have a great porch for outdoor seating too. A great place to cozy up and do some work.
